Can Christian

Residential

Complete renovation of a classic apartment in Barcelona’s upper district

Can Christian was a space with great potential, but out of step with its time. Through design, it became a continuous, luminous space with long sightlines that connect the rooms. Materiality was the guiding thread throughout, creating a balanced mix of materials. The original herringbone parquet, a historic remnant of the property, was restored to its full splendor. It is paired with warm walnut wood, the Macael marble countertop, and the glazed tile of the balconies. It is set apart from the more private area of the house, resolved with an ecru microcement floor.

They bring cohesion and style to this dream home.
